While the show mine in Predoi may not be for people with claustrophobia, visitors can still learn a lot about copper mining in Valle Aurina. Kitted out with a helmet, miner’s lamp and raincoat, take the underground railway deep into the mountainside. It’s great fun!
MMM CORONES | PLAN DE CORONES
The summit plateau of Plan de Corones is home to one of the six Messner Mountain Museums at 2,275 m above sea level. The one on Plan de Corones is dedicated to the theme of ‘Traditional Alpinism’. Designed by Zaha Hadid, the spectacular architecture of the building is even an impressive sight from the inside thanks to the 360° panoramic view.

EARTH PYRAMIDS IN PERCA
The impressive earth pyramids were created by soil erosion and very special climatic conditions. They are not only in Perca near Brunico, but also in other parts of South Tyrol and definitely worth a visit!
